First of all, download the Volvo RTI MMM+ Navigation DVD Maps Europe files. Then you need Nero or any other burning software to burn the maps to DVD. There are 2 files and you will need 2 DVDs. The process is very simple, once files are downloaded just use “burn the image to disc” in NERO. Once completed you will have the DVDs with your latest maps. Now go to the car and insert the first one, follow the instruction from navigation to copy the maps to HDD.

The process does not require experience in-car navigation. Of course, you will need a computer and a disc to burn the maps. The steps to update your car GPS are the following. Go and download the Volvo XC60 Navigation Disc iso file. Once completed insert an empty disc into the computer and using Nero burning Rom or any other burning software burn the iso file with Volvo XC60 maps to the disc. We recommend using the speed 4x, just to be sure you will not have problems when you insert the disc in-car navigation.

As you can see in the photo above the update will take approximately 15 minutes to be completed, something a bit more. So please be patient and do not turn the ignition off when the update is in process. After you hit continue a new window with the following text will appear “Preparing to load System Software”, now the update process has been started.
