If you are searching the new maps for your Ford you are in the right place. Below is a DIY tutorial to update your Ford maps easily and without coding or experience required. First of all, check if your car is listed below in compatible models then follow this tutorial.
Required items to complete the procedure: an empty SD Card and a computer. First of all, download the Ford F8 Sync 2 SD Card Navigation Map file. When the download is completed insert the SD Card and format it. Then just copy the downloaded file with maps to the SD card, no require additional softwares. Once completed go to your car and insert the SD card in the slot, the location may vary from model to model. Ignition must be switched on. After inserting the SD card with the new maps the navigation will automatically detect the new maps and you will see “Navigation loading…” in the top right. After that a new window will pop up like in the photo above, click ok and that’s all.
